This Privacy Policy describes how amiees.com, operated by Aether Trading LLC
doing business as Amiees (the "Site," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses,
and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase
from the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Device Information

  • Purpose: to load the Site accurately, and to perform analytics on Site usage to optimize the Site.
  • Source: collected automatically via cookies, log files, web beacons, tags, or pixels.
  • Disclosed to: our processor Shopify, and our advertising partners.
  • Categories collected: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie identifiers, pages/products viewed, search terms, and general interaction with the Site.

Order Information

  • Purpose: to fulfill our contract with you. This includes processing payment, arranging shipping, providing invoices and order confirmations, communicating with you, screening for fraud risk, and, where consistent with your preferences, sending you marketing about our products.
  • Source: collected directly from you.
  • Disclosed to: our processor Shopify and our shipping fulfillment partner(s).
  • Categories collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.

Minors

The Site is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with Personal Information, contact us at the address above and we will take steps to delete it.

How We Share Personal Information

We share Personal Information only with service providers who need it to help us operate the Site and fulfill our contract with you, or as required by law:

  • We may disclose Personal Information to comply with applicable law, respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our customers or others.
  • We do not sell Personal Information for money. As described below, certain advertising/analytics integrations may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of information under California law, and you have a right to opt out of that.

Your Right to Opt Out of Sale/Sharing (California)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, our use of advertising cookies and integrations like Meta, TikTok, and Shopify Audiences may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of Personal Information, even though we receive no money for it.   • Emailing us at support@amiees.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or
  • Adjusting the cookie preferences shown when you first visit the Site, or
  • Using a recognized opt-out preference signal (e.g., Global Privacy Control), which we will honor where technically detectable.

We will not discriminate against you (e.g., by denying service, charging different prices, or providing a different quality of service) for exercising this or any other privacy right.

Lawful Basis (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, we process your Personal Information under one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of our contract with you
  • Compliance with our legal obligations

Data Retention

Automated Decision-Making

We do not engage in automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

Our processor Shopify uses limited automated tools for fraud prevention that do not have a legal or similarly significant effect on you, including:

  • Temporary blacklisting of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions (persists for a small number of hours).
  • Temporary blacklisting of payment cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses (persists for a small number of days).

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update, port, or request erasure of your Personal Information. Contact us using the information above to exercise these rights.
